ABOUT ME
I earned my Bachelors degree from Indiana University Southeast in 2015 and joined Emily Minor’s lab in 2016. I have worked in labs on the pathophysiology of bipolar disorder at the University of Louisville and on leafhopper mating behavior, male-male competition, and identifying cryptic species at IUS. As an undergrad I realized that manmade systems were not only increasingly common but were wonderful laboratories for understanding both ecology generally and the world immediately surrounding so many of us. In graduate school I plan to work on how landscape features produce the communities that we see in cities.
Outside of the lab I enjoy going to zoos and museums, collecting science toys and samples, reading about politics, and a little bit of gaming and fandom to relax after reading about politics.

If I'm not your cup of tea, maybe you need to talk to one of my lab mates. The Minor lab's webpage can be found here... http://minorlab.weebly.com
